Horrible experience. The sales representative told me to "press the blue button"...the blue button said "enroll". I asked what am I enrolling in, sir. He said, " women your age always ask that question"...i said, "I would hope anyone being asked to enroll in something understands what it is"...he did not explain to my satisfaction...he said I had to enroll to purchase a refrigerator...I took my $1500 to Lowes...where the representative was very helpful. If you want a little ageism sprinkled with a condescending tone...head right to Best Buy.

Update: Shout out and sincere thank you to Zoie at Best Buy. Extremely friendly and professional. Yeah… I’m one of those people. Can’t seem to track down the receipts for a laptop and printer I bought this year, so I’m crossing my fingers Best Buy has copies on file. Tell me I’m not alone—who else is still pulling their taxes together right now? Zoie was a great help! Got all my receipts 🤪

There is something im beginning to notice about the difference between these brick and mortar stores compared to online. Whether this is intentional or accidental, its hard to say. Apparently, these brick stores do not keep up with in store inventory compared to the online inventory. Yes, I know; everybody is online shopping for items they can't find. I grew up in a different generation and putting your hands on something tangible without guessing whether your waiting for a package to show up. Praying and hoping porch pirates don't watch the delivery truck or are watching your house. Anyway, I believe we need to begin to stand up for ourselves. We are consumers and we deserve to get what we pay for.

I had an amazing experience at Best Buy Winston Salem, NC. My Samsung 65” tv blew out in less than a year. I called myself trying to be different and ventured from my beloved Sony… BIG MISTAKE. I was doing quite a bit of research on TV’s and came across the Sony Bravia 9. I love its brightness because it’s going in a brighter room and near OLED picture. I did NOT like the price tag! Best Buy tends to update their pricing every Monday and I happened to check on January 12, 2026 and it went from $2799 for the 65” to $1,999. Still felt a little bit uncomfortable at that price but Winston Salem Best Buy had saved the day! Offering the TV Open Box-Excellent for $1399. I drove from Fayetteville, NC about 2 hour drive and got it home. Took it out the box and all accessories were in the box! The TV didn’t even look like it had been taken out of the box! And Zoey who helped me at store pickup was extremely kind and amazing! The young man who helped me get it to the car was too although I couldn’t remember his name. I had a great experience! The TV retails at a whopping $2,999 and I saved more than 50% of its cost! Thank you Best Buy Winston Salem for helping me get the TV I ha
